Dr. Beisner wanted to be a veterinarian ever since she was 7 years old and believes it’s a wonderful gift to be doing something she truly loves. She started working at Wheaton Animal Hospital prior to vet school as a technician/receptionist and is thrilled to be able to practice here as a veterinarian.

She went to St. Georges University for vet school, which is located on the island of Grenada in the Caribbean. It was an interesting experience and one that she won’t forget. The areas of veterinary medicine she particularly enjoys include dermatology and soft tissue surgery.

Dr. Beisner shares her life with 1 dog, 5 cats, her son Jack and daughter Clara. It’s a full household, but she wouldn’t change it for anything.
