 During my
childhood we moved almost every other year. Besides my family, the only
thing stable in my life were my pets. They were my best friends, and
because of the constant changes in my life I depended on them. Because of
the gifts they have given me throughout my life I wanted to give back to
them.
In 1996 I became a veterinarian.I began
working at the Wheaton Animal Hospital in December of 1998 and have really
enjoyed all the time I have spent there. I enjoy being able to spend time
with my clients in order to get to know the four legged and two legged
members of their families. Though I love all aspects of practice, I enjoy
surgery and pediatric medicine the most.Besides my
time at the practice I enjoy working with other veterinarians through the
American Veterinary Medical Association, the Illinois State Veterinary
Medical Association, and the Chicago Veterinary Medical Association. We
participate in various pet shows, school job fairs, dog jogs, and even a
spot on NBC Saturday morning news.
My husband
and I share our home with our two year old son, Pierce. As well as Kaia and
Samantha both mixed breed dogs and Sasha our Himalayan kitty.
